Here is Walther’s good little PK380 pistol. Manufacturer is Carl Walther GmbH Sportwaffen of Ulm, Germany. Importer and warrantor is Walther USA of Fort Smith, AR. Type is blowback action or short recoil, hammer fired, traditional double and single action semi automatic pistol. Construction is steel slide, barrel, levers, springs, magazine body, and internal parts assembled into a polymer frame. Chambering is .380 ACP caliber. Barrel is 3.6 inch one piece steel, with 1:16 six groove right hand rifling. Slide has rear serrations, with ambidextrous slide mounted safety levers that block the firing pin. Hammer can release to rest on safety. Sights are 5 1/4 inch radius, stake on red dot front, with windage and elevation adjustable dovetailed rear. Trigger is .400 wide serrated face, pulls two stage at 11 pounds vicinity double action with 1 inch of travel. Single action pull is 2 stage 6 1/2 pounds, with minimal felt creep and overtravel. Hammer is .300 round serrated spur. Frame incorporates a two slot, M1913 type Picatinny rail in front of the trigger guard. Magazine is single stacked, stainless body with polymer finger rest. It holds 8 rounds, so 8 + 1 fully loaded capacity. Magazine release is ambidextrous, inside the back of the trigger guard. Grip frame is finger groove type, with surface stippling. Dimensions are 6 1/2 inches length by 5 inches height by 1.11 inches maximum lateral thickness at the disassembly lever. Weight empty is 15 ounces, centered at the breech face. Finish is satin nickel slide and barrel, with black levers, lower, and rear sight. Surface detractions on this pistol are minimal to negligible. We rate it as Excellent in Box, 90 to 95 percent vicinity by our estimate. It comes in its original box with cleaning brush, total of One magazine, and a key for its internal lock. From this PK380’s BG date code, it was manufactured in 2016. Bore, chamber, and mechanism are all bright and clean. We estimate it was fired fewer than 200 times.
