Description: This is a very tight gun. It is like new. The G Series is getting harder and harder to find especially in this condition. The bore is excellent and shinny. This gun will shoot 22 or 22 magnum. I only have the 22 mag. Cylinder. The gun shoots like a dream. This would make a great one to add to your Colt collection and is a great shooter as well. Serial number is G25451. The gun was made in 1971 and is excellent shape to be 44 years old. Peacemaker 22 revolvers the very first ones were made with true 4 3/4 inch barrels. After about the first year of production, the barrel length was changed to 4.4 inches. (They also made 6 and 7 1/2 inch barreled guns.) So the true 4 3/4 inch Peacemaker 22's are relatively rare guns and will command a premium on the collector market. The barrel on this gun measures 4.75 inches using a digital set of calipers. The gun does not appear to have been shot very much at all. Note: Shipping will be calculated when winning bidder contacts me. Also, this gun is for sale locally in a gun shop so bid early.
