1851 Colt Navy revolver made for U.S. Historical Society, .36 caliber, 7.5" barrel, Blue finish with gold etched accents, gold-plated grip straps, walnut grips with Robert E. Lee medallion, housed in a French fitted walnut case with keyed lock, silver flask, medallion, and silver-plated cap box, along with red velvet gun and flask cover and white gloves.. It includes the certificate #1525 out of 2,500, firing instructions, and Robert E Lee commemorative story.

A Beautiful 1851 Revolver patterned "EXACTLY' after the General's own 51 Colt presented to him by Samuel Colt, which is now in the Confederate Museum. This beauty has 24-Karat Gold engravings on the cylinder of the Napoleon Cannon that the Confederates used; Lee's family home at Arlington; with the Confederate flag in the background; Lee astride his beloved horse, Traveller; the McLean House at Appomattox; Thirteen stars, also inlaid with 24-Karat gold, represent the states of the Confederacy. Has gorgeous Walnut Grips and a 24-Karat Lee bust in the left side of the grip. Has the authentic silver-plated American Eagle power flask, that was used by Confederate Officers. As well as six gold plated 36 caliber balls. The case is beautiful cherry wood, lined in velvet and covered with top-grain, gold stamped leather bordered with the design of the engraving pattern of the revolver. Inscribed in the Lee family crest is the motto "Ne Incautus Futuri", meaning "Not Unmindful of the Future". Also included is the sterling silver Robert E. Lee medallion, shows General Lee with his dates of birth and date, the reverse shows General Lee on Traveller. This is more than a conversation piece, it is the focal point of any room, and will never be made again. As the Internationally known authority on Colt and author of several books on the same, R.L. Wilson stated "This Revolver is a remarkable example of superb design and fine craftsmanship. I am pleased to have it in my own private collection.
