This is a WWII era Mauser Model HSc pistol Fourth Variation 7.65mm (.32 ACP) caliber GI bring-back. It is nickel-plated, the condition of which is 85 – 90% intact. These single/double action pistols were developed by Mauser to compete with the popular Walther PP and PPK line of firearms, and have a 3.4" barrel, 8 round magazine, and checkered walnut grips. This specimen has a Nazi Waffen Eagle 135 acceptance proof mark and, according to the 871490 serial number, was manufactured in 1943 for the German Wehrmacht. Mechanically in excellent condition; it is crisp and tight; there are no cracks or splits in the grips; and the bore looks clean and bright. It comes with a single magazine. There are no importation markings. This is a fine little HSc for the WWII era collector.
