Here is a Davis .380 Pocket Pistol manufactured by one of the Ring of Fire companies in Southern California. The name was assigned by anti gun journalists. Manufacturer was Davis Industries, CA, in business from 1986 until 1998. Model is P380. From its AP305000 range serial number, it was manufactured in 1993. Type is single action, striker fired blowback semi automatic pistol. Construction is Zamak zinc alloy slide and barrel breech piece, with steel one piece main barrel and a few steel internal parts, assembled into a cast zamak frame. Grips are lateral serration screw on polymer. Slide is smooth Cast surface with rear serrations. Barrel is 2 3/4 inch six groove right hand, 1:10 vicinity. Sights are solid rib, slide integral fixed blade front and low shoulder fixed notch rear, with a 4 inch sight radius. Trigger is .190 smooth face ported polymer two stage, 10 pound vicinity with substantial felt creep and overtravel. The P380 has a left side mounted main safety that is not reversible, and that locks the slide engaged. Note the red cocked firing pin indicator. Magazine release is butt mounted European style; factory magazine holds 6 rounds of .380 ACP caliber ammunition, so 6 + 1 fully loaded capacity. Overall length is 5 1/4 inches; height is 4 1/8 inches; and slide thickness is .93 inch at the port. Weight empty is 19 1/4 ounces, with center of gravity at the safety front. Finish is chrome or satin nickel. This P380 comes from its original owner here in West Tennessee. Surface detractions are only moderate, principally edge wear and moderate lateral streaking. We rate it as Very Good, 80 to 85 percent vicinity by our estimate, but photos ought to suffice for our distinguished shoppers to judge finish grade for themselves. Bore, chamber, and mechanism are all bright and clean. We estimate this pistol has been fired fewer than 200 times.
