C. Petmecky, Austin, Texas, with two other guns on October 1, 1893. It is sound and tight, all clicks and matching numbers. The grips appear to be original Colt one-piece walnuts, but I don't know if they are original to this particular gun. They appear to have kept it company for a while! There may be a little blue hiding in protected areas, but it is basically no finish. The front sight has been shortened a bit - a typical Texas cowboy gun! The accompanying impressed double loop holster is the right period for the gun, has a bull head carved (not Heiser), but has no maker mark. It also appears shop made.
