• WHY AM I SELLING? Was intended as a gift. Intended recipient does not want it.
• PRICING: Pricing is quite firm and it’s VERY reasonable.
• TRADES: Trades will unlikely be considered. However, if you wish to make an offer, do so in your initial communication. Understand that I prefer the cash.
• PAYMENT: This will be a CASH ONLY, PAYMENT-IN-FULL sale! (the only very unlikely exception will be a trade) (see also “Notes regarding payment” below)
• AVAILABILITY: I am not working full time right now, thus my schedule is quite flexible.
• SAFETY & EXCHANGE:
- If you're not willing to do the travel to a place where I can fulfil the legal requirements of the sale at the cost of the firearm, then don't make an offer!
- I NEED access to a computer, the internet, and a printer to do the transaction to
1) complete the FOID Validation (see below website), AS REQUIRED BY ILLINOIS STATE LAW
2) a)print the paperwork for record-keeping, AS REQUIRED BY ILLINOIS STATE LAW
2) b) print your receipt!
I am not a mobile office, so there is no other option!
- With that, I live in a safe apartment complex – zero crime – including me!
- Once the firearm is associated with your name (via the receipt, as outlined below), I don’t want to hold onto it longer than I am legally obligated to, which is 72-hours! Believe me, you’ll get your gun!

I've already sold one arm via Armslist, and it was completely stress & drama free, and I made a friend! The sale was completed as outlined herein!
Notes regarding payment: It’s a $220.00 gun. Be prepared to pay in-full, with cash, or don’t contact me!
The explanations for those who can’t seem to grasp it are:
a) I am a private seller (i.e., I don’t have a card machine, and I’m not messing around with checks of any kind!)
b) I’m not messing around with partial payments to then
- create state records on a police website
- chase you down to pay the balance and then pick up your arm (and you certainly are not going to get the arm before full payment is made, nor before the 72-hour waiting period!)
c) A receipt is a legally binding contract! Your ‘fears’ of not getting the firearm should be resolved! If you’re not willing to pay-in-full for exchange of a very detailed, dated and signed receipt, don’t contact me!
THE LOGISTICS:
You will show up YOURSELF, IN PERSON, with full-payment of cash-in-hand to and YOUR ILLINOIS FOID!
Upon display of the cash and FOID, you will be shown the arm, in the box, with all contents to examine.
If you then wish to proceed with the sale, I will run your FOID number on the IL verification website and receive, and print out, an instantaneous answer as to whether the sale can go through.
At that point, and in exchange for full-cash-payment, you will receive a receipt as follows:
- dated
- your name & address as the buyer
- my name and address as the seller
- the make, model, serial of the arm
- a note indicating the Illinois State Police Approval Number as documented on the Illinois State Police Record of Firearm Transfer
- “to be picked up after” date and time (72 hours thereafter the exchange) after which you may pick up the arm, in compliance with state law.
