This is a very clean Colt 1st Generation Single Action Army revolver shipped as a single gun order to D. N. Walford (sporting goods dealer with stores in both Washington, D.C. and Annapolis, Maryland) on November 29, 1930, with 7.5” barrel, in .45 Long Colt caliber and hard rubber grips numbered to the gun (serial #353640). The Colt shows conservatively 70% of its original blue finish, some minor freckling and faded case colors on the frame. There are also various surface scratches and small marks typical of light use. The mechanics and bore are near perfect.
The gun is housed in a 1930’s vintage George Lawrence, Portland, Oregon, heavy leather, snap keeper holster.
