Description: East Germany was the first country outside of the Soviet Union to adopt the Makarov pistol. The Pistole M was made under license from the Soviet Union at VEB Ernst Thalmann-Werk in Suhl, Thruingia, East Germany from 1957 until 1965. East German Makarov is considered being the highest quality Makarov ever made, with parts tolerances and bluing equal to or surpassing commercially produced weapons of the same era by many Makarov fans. Collectors marvel at the elegant design and how timeless these pistols remain fifty plus years after being made. Shooters like the excellent trigger pull and the inherent accuracy of these pistols due to the fixed barrel design. There is also strong collector interest in the Pistole M based on East Germany itself - the allure of the repressive government and the Stasi, as well as the German arms making tradition.

You are looking on a very nice East German Makarov. pistol appears to be unfired, the original East German jewel-like "royal" blue finish is 99.9%. Pistol comes with original black bakelite grip and one 8rd 9x18 magazine. All matching except the magazine. Importer marked.
