Ballard 41 cal. rimfire single shot.Only a few thousand of these were made.Some have brass frames and some were iron frames,this one is an iron frame serial # 790 and all numbers match on the grips, barrel,& frame.It also has lettering on the left side of barrel but not all of the letters are readable.What it says is:C.H.Ballard & CO/WORCHESTER MASS/PAT'D JUNE 22 1869.I would grade it at close to VERY GOOD.The barrel does have a slight ammount of up & down play,hammer and trigger work fine.The bore does have some pitting but rifling is still well visable.This gun is classified as antique and does not have to go thru a dealer.The buyer must be at least 21 yrs. old and must comply with your state laws.I dot ship to California.Buyer must send a copy of there drivers license along with payment by money order.
