It is chambered 5.56 NATO with front and rear Magpul back-up sights, and a mid 4-rail free-float handguard. The upper receiver is a Mil-Spec A3-style flattop upper forged of 7075 T6 aluminum. Lower Receiver is also forged from 7075-T6 aircraft aluminum. The Recon has Magpul MOE stock and grip, as well as an enhanced trigger guard.
