Barrel is 24 inch standard with 1/4 x 28 threaded muzzle, and 1:10 six groove right hand rifling. Bolt is three piece with three lug face area, serrated body, and 60 degree bolt handle. Bolt is easy enough to remove and reinsert. Sight system will be a scope, and the included Weaver 411 type scope mounts will serve well, with numerous rail and Redfield type systems available throughout the country. Magazine is detachable 3 round, so 3+1 fully loaded capacity. Safety is 3 position Winchester 70 style, mounted atop the bolt. Trigger is adjustable, and this one pulled at 5 1/4 pounds with moderate felt creep. Stock is graphite based polymer, with a distinctively sculpted forend area that allows the barrel to free float and openly ventilate. Length of pull is 13 3/8 inches, with 1 1/2 inch by 1 7/8 inch drop from the scope bases. Overall full length is 44 inches, and weight empty is 7 pounds 7 ounces, centered at the chamber. Finish is matte blued, with chrome or stainless safety and bolt release. Surface detractions on this compass are negligible. We rate it as Excellent Condition, perhaps Near Mint, but photos ought to suffice for our distinguished shoppers to judge finish grade for themselves. Bore, chamber, and mechanism are all bright and clean. If this rifle was ever fired, it was fewer than 20 times.
