The frame of this pistol retains about 95% original black enamel paint finish showing some scattered light flaking, a few light dings and handling marks. The 4" barrel retains about 98% original blue showing a small ding along the front sight ramp and a few light handling marks. The 6" barrel retains about 99% original blue showing a few light handling marks. Both barrels are crisply marked with Dardick Corp. address, the 4" barrel is numbered to the gun and the 6" is un-numbered. The trigger shows nice case-hardened colors and the rotating chamber remains mostly bright. The checkered brown synthetic grips remain in fair to good condition; the left panel shows moderate warping and separation from the frame while the right panel shows just some minor light wear. The action seems to function well mechanically. Included is the original blue factory box ink stamp-numbered to the gun that rates very fine showing a few light scuffs and handling marks, four dummy trounds, Dardick brochure and "New Developments in Army Weapons, Tactics, Organization, and Equipment" pamphlet describing the application of the Dardick rotary chamber system for larger military ordnance.
