Here is the first Simunition anything we’ve ever had rounds we’ve ever had, that came to us through a Department Trade with some 9mm Berettas. Conversion kit is a GDC #5308270, Beretta 92FS type, for standard frame Beretta 92 Pistols. We do not believe it has ever been fired; it is in its original box and we detect no installation scuffing on its surfaces. The rounds themselves are mainly non-lethal, manufactured in Canada by General Dynamics Corporation, and distributed by Law Enforcement suppliers in the United States. These rounds are loaded brass, about half the length of normal 9mm brass, with plastic capsules and collars that contain bright colored marking substance. This particular lot comes with two full boxes, 50 rounds per box, 100 total of bright red; 3 full boxes, 50 rounds per box, 150 rounds total of bright yellow; and then the extra 40 some odd rounds shown in the photo. None of this ammunition has ever been loaded or cycled, and a weapon must have a Simunition conversion unit to function with it. This is Simunition’s FX Series, their premiere grade; enclosed specs indicate a 9.5 gram projectile that exits at 450 or so feet per second. All the cases are headstamped IVI 9mm 09, loaded in 2009. Since it is loaded with standard small pistol primers, it is still ammunition for purposes of Federal and State Laws. Normal Department pricing on this ammunition is upwards of $40.00 per box, as far as we can tell; and it is normally only sold in case quantities. Normal replacement pricing on the Simunition Kit itself is over $300 on most venues we have seen.
