From a local estate sale an unfired 58 cal. percussion US Model 1841 Rifled Musket. 33" round barrel with brass fittings (butt plate, trigger guard, barrel bands, and patch box (some of the brass has tarnish as I have not polished the brass..see photos) The lock is crisp with a strong hammer spring and is beautifully color case hardened. The stock has no chips, cracks or scratches (see photos). This gun was made by Navy Arms and comes with the factory box as well as a new powder flask, new bullet mold and the patch box has a extra nipple and ball worm inside. At the sale the heirs said the gun was bought new in 1974, has never been fired, and has always been kept in a gun safe. After close inspection of the lock I truly believe the gun has never been fired (see photos).
