This is an extremely well made 1911 - the fit and finish is superb, way above Rugers typical quality finish. I am a fan of rugers in general, they make reliable guns, but they aren't typically as pretty as a smith or a colt. This SR Commander is in that category finish wise. I sold one recently to a gentleman who is quite the firearms enthusiast and he called me back raving about how much he loves this ruger.
