Description: This is a used CA-compliant P-308 w/ 14.5" barrel made by the premier manufacturer Patriot Ordnance Firearms. It is gas-piston driven, which dramatically reduces fouling and heat stress within the upper receiver and bolt carrier group. The lower receiver features an ambidextrous bolt-release. It features a 4.5-pound, single-stage Timney custom trigger. The inside of the upper receiver and the bolt carrier group have a Nickel-Boron finish that dramatically reduce friction and allow easier cleaning (not that it needs much with the gas-piston design).

These weapons were extensively tested by the San Bernardino Sheriff Department who fired 23,000 rounds without malfunction. They also continued to fire sub-MOA groups at 24,000 rounds. You can see the report here

I've fired 500 rounds of factory ammo and about 100 handloads through this, so it is functionally practically brand new. There is normal wear and tear on the anodizing along high use areas (scope rail, magazine well, brass deflector).

The base rifle comes with Troy flip-up sights w/ Tritium front post, 2x DPMS 10-rd mags, soft case/range bag, and Harris Bipod for $1400. This is an absolute steal considering just a new POF upper alone sells for over $1800.

This is a great rifle, and I am sad to be letting it go. Unfortunately, I only have access to indoor ranges and can't use this beauty out to the 500 meters she ought to be fired at.
