Description: This ad is for the pictured Authentic WWII German Red Cross Subordinate's Hewer. This German Dagger is about as nice as they come. The blade has 100 percent of it's original polish with just a few minor spots. There is a German Trade Marking on the blade under the Emblem on the guard. It reads Ges.Geschützt The handle is complete and has no cracks in the panels. The hilt is plated with the expected small bubbles in the plating. There is a social security number that has has been etched lightly into the pommel of the knife. This is faint and detracts very little from the appearance. The sheath is also authentic and has a few small scratches in the black paint. The tip of the blade is squared to comply with rules governing red cross members carrying a weapon. The blade has a massive sawtooth top edge. A close look at the pictures will show you all the details.
