This is a medium frame Webley RIC type revolver. This is either German made revolver, or a Belgian revolver made for German market, although no Belgian proofs are present. German commercial proofs are present on the frame, barrel and cylinder, "Crown over U". The revolver was manufactured in 9 x16 mm caliber. Many of such revolvers were privately purchased by German officers in the 1880/1890-s, and consequently have seen service during War World One. 3.5 inch long octagonal barrel. Six shot cylinder.
