It is a very early rifle with a 22in. octagon barrel ( probably cut). It has a very good almost excellent bore, bright shinny sharp rifleing with only a spot or two in it which may clean up. The gun must have been special ordered because the lower tang was made for a set trigger and has no ser.#. The adjusting screw is missing however the gun shoots just fine without it.The case colors are gone, the original barrel blue is about 50%.The wood has the usual nicks and dings with one small chunk out of the forearm. No cracks or major problems.
