Description: Colt Combat Elite circa 1986. This pistol is in Excellent/Like new condition. Original box has seen better days, but intact and correct. All papers. Also has a letter showing this Colt was a gift issued to a Gentleman at an Area 5 IPSC/USPSA match in 1987. He was most likely the match winner. There is custom checkering to front grip strap and front of trigger guard, along with a S&A Magwell. More pics available if needed. Blueing is 97% with no carry signs. I obtained this pistol from a local private FFL who was selling it from an estate sale. Pistol has been fired, but very little. This is a beautiful piece. I am looking mainly to get into an AR rifle of the Govt. model A3 or A4 type. 16' barrel/1in7 twist/detach carry handle, etc. I am only doing this sale for an AR-15. I will trade pistol + cash for right AR. This is part of my collection, but have a bad AR itch. If you have an AR to trade, please send along pics to: .
