Description: Serially numbered 572xx, this is the earliest specimen of the Ruger .44 Carbine that we remember having, made in the rifle’s Second Year of Production, 1962. We do not recall ever having one this low in the past 20-25 years. This is a nice one, too; it is a solid Very Good and flirts with the Excellent status. It has no serious detractions, only evidence of light and careful use. Its chief finish flaw is a one-inch, narrow white, non-continuous scuff top center of the barrel about 8 inches back of the muzzle, and a bit of weakness to the blue on the bedding block behind the receiver. The alloy parts of the trigger group exterior are more gray than black, but they still have most of their original finish. The carrier has little wear at all, as the photos show. Stock scuffing is mild and minor, and affects no more than 15-20 percent of the wood surface by our estimate. There is some light weathering indication near the buttplate and at places on the edge of the pistol grip area. Sling swivels are original, and only have leather wear on their edges. Screw stress to the forward swivel or band screw is negligible. The bore, chamber, and gas mechanism are excellent on this little Carbine. Butt plate scuffing is almost all relegated to the heel edge, and buttplate screws are intact and fully blued except for light rust residue in their slots. Sling is a period-appropriate 1 inch military type Hunter brand, probably from the late 1960s. The sling is weak in places but is intact, and has nice toning around its brass pieces. Barrel length, of course, is 18.5 inches and capacity is 5 rounds. Own this outstanding, very early Ruger .44 Carbine for only $ 679.95

Don't let your buddies use your account. Registered user must be the buyer, with his or her own money. Buying firearms and related items for other people can result in felony charges. Don't try, either, to circumvent any law; for example, a California civilian may not buy a high capacity magazine and have it shipped to his brother-in-law in Nevada. That is a felony.
GA Pay buyers are NOT charged until we confirm we have the item and are ready to ship it. The same thing is true for phone-in, fax-in, and mail-in payments. In this respect, and in several others, Guns America outshines all its competitors. This is the best firearms website there is, hands down.
