This walnut stock still has the left side cartouche, and the finish on the black walnut is very clean. Metal is smooth blue turning to grey, Fuctions very well, Has no saddle ring. Looks like one of the guns from Bannerman that may have assembled the remaining guns after purchasing the parts from the armory, at the end of production. this model 1896 is very clean, with clean shiney bore!

I am an estate dealer, and buy whole contents of homes, mostly gun smith's estates. Been doing this for 40 years. Never know what I'll find next.We look for the unusual, we don't buy new guns from wholesalers, and resell! !KEEP CHECKING MY INVENTORY. We don't do feedback this isn't EBAY! Thank you.
