According to the late expert Wilkerson " Mixed serial numbers were common during the 1970's as Colt used up parts from unsold guns, mostly Commemoratives. Serial number on frame is 69007SA, but on side of backstrap the number is 69040SA.Number on cylinder is 007. Its factory original.Mounted with Colt "Mother of Pearl" grips. Beautiful gun.
