The Blem, the major detraction, to this nice little Brazilian .410 double is the swell in the left barrel about 2 ½ inches behind the muzzle. There is, in our opinion, sufficient return that would likely make the left barrel choke tighter, but of course we wish the barrel were totally straight. This little .410 has been well used, plenty of pings, scratches and weather wear on the stock and forend – yet most of it is only conspicuous from the underside. Trigger uard is turning to a brown patina; gold plating on triggers is weak, and the barrels and receiver have some spottiness that are not too conspicuous except under direct light. Nevertheless, this shotgun has by our estimate about 80 percent of the finish remaining. Bore is Very Good, except for the swell we have mentioned. Mechanism and lockup are tight and sound. Back in the late 1970s, we sold around 1,000 of these in various gauges within a year’s time, and we presume this is one of them. Own this good serviceable little .410 for only $219.95
