This revolver came from a recent Miami factory sale of factory reconditioned Taurus firearms that are so marked on their boxes. It is definitely covered by Taurus’s Life Time Repair Policy. The box is marked Model 445 .44 Spl. Revolver, product code 2-445021. It is a steel Medium Frame Taurus Revolver, with a 5-shot cylinder chambered for the power house .44 Special round. It is a recent lock variant, and is in mint or near-mint condition in its original cardboard box with instruction manual and two keys for its internal lock. The only detractions that we detect anywhere are light rotation marking on the cylinder, light residue in the bore and cylinder chambers where it was test fired at the Miami Taurus Plant, and an X suffix to its 8-digit serial number. Since some distributors no longer list the 445, it may be discontinued, a definite plus with us if it is. This revolver has a 2 inch full-lug, non-ported barrel and weighs 29.5 ounces empty.
