Description: Pre-Model 23, .38-44 Outdoorsman revolver, cal .38 Special, 6.5" shrouded barrel, blue, adj target sights, 5-screw frame, mint checkered walnut standard diamond grips that are numbered to the gun. This gun has been fired, but has a mint bore, chambers and function, extremely tight barrel/cylinder gap. Retains 97% blue, showing muzzle wear and light edge wear with a light line on each side of frame that looks to be from wearing target grips at some point in the past. All original with matching numbered frame, barrel, cylinder and grips. One of the best, if not the best S&W large frame revolvers ever made, just a great old gun! C&R OK. Shipping and insurance is $30.00 to lower 48 states. PA residents add 6% sales tax.
