Beautiful 1891 Argentine Loewe Mauser Rifle as shown, serial No. H64xx. Rifle retains 93-95% original blue, crest neatly removed, bore is mint and action smooth. All numbers appear to match, including the cleaning rod. Flip up sight has a two digit number which is one digit off from the serial number of the gun (I do not know if these were originally numbered to the gun - the collectors will know). My opinion is that it is the original site. Some remnants of old adhesive tape on steel blue butt plate - I will oil but you can remove it. Small 1/2" line (negligible) radiating from stock disk and two 1/4" lines (also negligible) at rear of tang. This rifle has proof marks on both the wood and metal and appears to be 100% original. I doubt you will find much better. We will only ship to either a C&R or FFL holder. This rifle is probably an antique, manufactured before 1898 but again, will only ship to a licensee. Add $25.
