This highly desirable pistol has adjustable rear sight, a spring loaded front sight adjustable for elevation, a serrated trigger, and fitted walnut grips with “all-over” checkering. The left side of the frame is marked “THE WOODSMAN”. The mainspring housing has the horizontal parallel lines indicating it was designed for high-velocity ammunition. The barrel is a straight taper at 6 5/8 inches length. This collectible Colt comes with a custom wood case, two full boxes of 50 Remington standard velocity .22 LR, one screwdriver, one bore brush, papers, lock and two extra magazines. Original factory 1ST Series magazine is two tone with base plate marked “COLT WOODSMAN / CAL. 22 L.R.” on two lines. Two extra factory magazines are blued “all-over” with base plates marked “COLT / CAL. 22L.R.” on two lines. Serial number is stamped on front frame strap. Excellent condition with 99% plus original blue finish with some minor muzzle wear and some minor high edge wear. The case is good with scattered scratches and dings. The boxes of ammunition and extra magazines are all excellent.
