Description: Here is a thoroughly traditional Smith & Wesson Combat Magnum Stainless, Model 66, Second Engineering Change, in 4 inch with Adjustable Black Rear, Red Ramp Front Sights, and classic Smith & Wesson Satin Stainless Hammer and Smooth Combat Trigger. Its serial number prefix is ADC, dating it to 1983. This revolver has seen sparing use protecting our fellow Americans in South Mississippi until recently, when its domicile's very conservative city fathers finally made the change to autoloaders. We rate it as Very Good finishwise, Excellent Mechanically. Moderate scouring and holster buffing affect about 15 percent of its surface by our estimate, but photos should suffice for interested parties to judge finish grade for themselves. Stress indications to its side plate screws are minimal; Mississippi Armorers pride themselves on operating screwdrivers. Blast effect to the under side of the frame top strap directly above the barrel's forcing cone is moderate, a thin shallow etchy crease that traverses about 80 percent of the width of the topstrap, as the photo shows. Timing is excellent. Double action trigger pull is smooth and consistent, and the hammer travels 10 to 15 degrees on all six positions in double action after the cylinder times into place. On single action, the hammer travels a full 25 degrees on all six after the cylinder times, and the single action trigger pull is a crisp 3 1/2 pounds. Lateral play of the cylinder is negligible with the trigger relaxed. With the trigger pulled all the way there is no movement whatsoever. Cylinder face to forcing cone gap is an above average .009. Bore and cylinder chambers are bright, clean, and excellent. Pachmayr SK-GP Professional new replacement grips are period appropriate for the 1980s. We are also including a period appropriate left hand leather holster. This revolver has served in a jurisdiction that values tradition, marksmanship, and adequate maintenance. It is still attractive and eminently serviceable. It is actually a stronger made revolver than its 66-1 predecessors, and the 66-1s survived over a decade of use with high pressure Super Vel Ammunition. This revolver's mechanical strength alone protests the discontinuance of the K-Frame Combat magnum series. We're offering it for only $ 429.95

Don't let your buddies use your account. Registered user must be the buyer, with his or her own money. Buying firearms and related items for other people can result in felony charges. Don't try, either, to circumvent any law; for example, a California civilian may not buy a high capacity magazine and have it shipped to his brother-in-law in Nevada. That is a felony.
GA Pay buyers are NOT charged until we confirm we have the item and are ready to ship it. The same thing is true for phone-in, fax-in, and mail-in payments. In this respect, and in several others, Guns America outshines all its competitors. This is the best firearms website there is, hands down.
