A great shotgun from long ago this 16ga. looks like Iver Johnson CHAMPION TRAP single shot has a 30" barrel with a tight FULL choke,, and a very good bore. The only marking on the gun is IVER JOHNSON CHAMPION, and the registration is light, possibly refinished long ago and looks like the barrel is armory steel .Chambered for the 2 3/4" shell.Outside metal is a blue thinning, and fading.Has a front brass bead sight.Action locks up tight. Hardwood walnut stocks are good, and has the Owl Head black hard rubber butt-plate .LOP is 14 3/8.
