Cal. 35 Remington, # V19XXX made in 1962. A used and well cared for "real" (pre-Remington) Marlin in the desirable straight grip Texan variation and in a great caliber. The action and trigger are very smooth from 50 years of use as only an older Marlin can be. The butt stock is not original. It is a nice looking Fajen walnut replacement stock. I stripped the butt stock and fore end, stained them to match as close as possible, and applied several coats of hand rubbed tung oil to a nice satin finish. The metal rates about 90% with some slight thinning on the sharp edges from carry & use. Please see pictures.
