Here are two factory Heckler & Koch Magazines we ran across, 5 rounders to fit the classic HK Semi Auto Rifle chambered in .308 Winchester. These came to us in a liquidation from a well known Massachusetts Firearms Distributor. Parent Rifles have not been imported since 1989, although we get them occasionally. Manufacturer, of course, is Heckler & Koch of Oberndorf. Construction is entirely precision stamped and welded steel, military parkerized finish to the body and floorplate, steel springs, and chrome plated steel cartridge follower. Neither of these magazines have ever been outside HK’s Distribution channels, never owned or loaded by a consumer. Surface detractions only amount to faint shelfwear on their high points of the magazine bodies as the photos show. Each magazine holds Five Rounds of .308 Winchester or 7.62x51 NATO ammunition, fifteen fewer rounds than the standard German Military issue magazines. Buyers who reside in jurisdictions where the standard magazines are legal for civilian possession may sub six Very Good Condition Factory HK Standard Magazines for these two; that makes the standard mags less than twenty dollars apiece. These magazines will only fit the Ninety One series rifles made by HK, or their Egyptian clones like the C et me or the quality rifles from PTR Ninety One Inc. These Will Not Fit an HK MR762; Will Not Fit a DPMS rifle; Will Not Fit the Landing Gear Struts of a P38 Mustang Fighter Plane. They will only fit Ninety One series rifles manufactured by Heckler and Koch, and imported prior to 1989, or the HK’s exact clones.
