Accepted Payment Methods: Returns: No Returns Description: This is a RARE, M1 Garand Tanker Model that was a "Special Edition" restoration by Arlington Ordnance, Virginia, back in ca. 1990. The receiver is a vintage SPRINGFIELD ARMORY, WORLD WAR II manufacture, which has been restored to As-New with a parkerized finish. Additional US GI parts are either OEM New, Custom Built (e.g., shortened foreend, shorter barrel), or OEM Restored to As-New Condition. A New 18.25 inch barrel (i.e., about 6 inches shorter than the standard M1 Garand barrel) exhibits a new parkerized finish. This firearm was factory tested and is New-In-Box. An absolutely beautiful "tiger-striped" or "cross-grained" stock was restored to an elegant, one-of-a-kind appearance. The "P" stamp is evident on the hand-grip of the stock. Of course, this fine firearm has it's original box and paperwork from Arlington Ordnance. The Arlington Ordnance "Tanker" that is for sale herein, is very similar to the Fulton Armory T26S Garand Scout, Part #: FA-M1G-T26S, that is for sale at the Fulton Armory Price of $2,149.95.
