The "BM" starts with a Precision machined M4 receiver to correct Mil-Specs from 7075 T6 Forgings extension, providing the end operator with superior strength and accuracy. Finished in Matte Black (anti-reflection/glare) Hard coat anodized (per Mil-A-8625F,Type-III, Class 2). Dry Film Lube on interior bore (per Mil-Specs) over the anodized surface. Laser T-Markings, M4 feed ramps, MilStd-1913 scope mounting rail, dust cover and charging handle.
The 16" CA Premium Match Grade SS Barrel Chambered in the popular .223 Wylde, an accurized hybrid chamber capable of firing both .223 and 5.56 ammunition safely and with precision. Made from 416R stainless steel, 1:8 twist, mid-length gas system with interupted strait fluting at the muzzle. The heavy profile balances your rifle and aids in precision shooting by helping reduce barrel movement off target and felt recoil.*(This Premium Match Grade barrel is easily capable of shooting sub 1" MOA patterns at 100 yards and beyond when using match grade ammunition and proper shooting technique.) The barrel assemby is finished with a nitride lo-pro gas block,SS mid length gas tube and a Vltor Compensator Flash Suppressor.This compensator offers the outstanding flash suppression of a prong flash hider with the addition of increased strength and durability.

We chose POF's 11.5" Renegade handguard made from precision machined 6061-T6 aluminum. The Renegade handguard is sleek and ergonomic while enhancing functionality for the end operator.This free-floating handguard boasts a full length continuous M1913 Picatinny top rail at the 12 o'clock position that provides more than 11" of length for optics, detachable sights, magnifiers and night-vision accessories. A 5 slot rail is located at the 6 o'clock position of the muzzle end and accessories can be mounted directly at the 3, 6 and 9 o'clock positions with any M-LOK compatible mount. Features include 2 precision machined quick disconnect/detach recoil lugs at the receiver end and 2 built in anti-rotation QD sling swivel sockets at the muzzle end. Heat buildup in the action is a known characteristic of direct-impingement guns. POF's Heat Sink Barrel Nut,(made from aluminum for light weight and rapid heat dissipation), completely encompass the chamber and throat areas of the barrel in order to help dissipate heat where it is most intense. This provides 17 times more heat dispersion than a standard AR barrel nut, and its length provides a very rigid platform for the attachment of the handguard.
We finished our "BM" upper with a Fail Zero EXO M16 FA Bolt carrier with correct headspaced Enhanced bolt(we do not use EXO coated bolts due to headspace issues with Match chambers).EXO Coated Carrier, cam pin, firing pin, Gas Key with EXO Coated Exterior and Chrome Lined ID. Hardened to USGI Specifications,Mil-Spec Staked and fastend Grade 8 Hardened Fasteners. EXO Coated for ultimate reliability, hardness, easier cleaning, and natural lubricity.
