We are offering for sale an antique Smith & Wesson MODEL 1 3rd Issue TIP UP revolver chambered in .22 Short. This revolver has a patent date of 1860 on the top rib. Revolver has a beautiful nickel finish.
3 ¼” barrel is in very good condition. Finish remains strong. Bore shows light wear with strong rifling. Frame is in similarly very good condition with a nice nickel finish showing very little loss. Cylinder shows signs of wear; some nickel loss noted. “Birds Head” wooden grips remain quite nice with light surface wear. Action works flawlessly.
