Extremely tough tool steel blade (I recall Rockwell Hardness of 56) with what was described as a permanently bonded synthetic handle. As far as I can tell from internet research, theses tomahawks are no longer made. I am the original owner, and this hawk has never cut anything, nor has it ever been thrown. Blade is as razor sharp as when I received it from Hays Knives of Montana in 2004. No box (it came in USPS Prepaid box. Comes with original sheath and leather tie.
