The pistol will rest with sufficient stability atop most high or medium-topped shoes, and certainly so in Acme work boots, as our photographer can attest. This holster has seen little use; and although the strap and base are synthetic laminate, the holster body itself is real Mexican cow. The ankle base is comfortably sheepskin-lined, and there are 10-12 inches of strap adjustment capability. The holster itself is unlined, so we recommend a liberal internal application of Rig or Remington gun grease on its interior. It is specifically molded for the Beretta 21 or 950 pistol, but will fit several other small autos. Our photographer has even used one for a Colt Mustang .380.
