It retains 60% of its original military finish. It’s a Series 4 Nagoya Arsenal produced. This one has its original leather sling and are very had to come by. The carbine was intended for mounted troops. The bore is shinny with strong rifling and light frosting. The 6.5 barrels were not chrome plated like most of the Type 99s. This is a very hard to find unit with dust cover, all matching numbers including the dust cover and retaining the original sling. Most leather slings were ruined due to the harsh tropical conditions.
