Description: This revolver is both scarce and distinctive. The 657-5 .41 Magnum with product code 163946, like this one, is listed in Supica’s and Nahas’s Standard Catalog as being in production from 2002 until 2005 only. All 657-5 revolvers have internal locks, the rational for the engineering suffix -5 change, but this one must have been released late on account of its January 3, 2007, test firing date. There aren’t many of these floating around. This one is in Mint or near mint condition. From our knowledge of its exclusive owner, it has been fired fewer than 50 rounds. There is minimal carbon accumulation, and no cutting whatsoever, on the under side of the frame top strap directly above the forcing cone. Cylinder rotation marking is minimal. There is a hint of white showing at the edges of the rear sight blade, but that is common on black-sighted S&Ws from the factory. We dare say, too, that the light streak descending from the forward side plate screw is original to the revolver. Moderate pulling on the upper left side of the Factory S&W Hogue Monogrip is not unusual. This revolver is excellent mechanically. Double action pull is smooth and consistent, and the hammer travels an additional 10 degrees or so after the cylinder times into place in that firing mode, and on Single Action there is a full 20 degrees hammer travel after timing. Single action trigger pull is a stiff but crisp 4 ¾ pounds. Hammer and trigger, as the photos show, are MIM casehardened coloration with floating firing pin and flat hammer. This .41 Magnum is in its original box with all its papers and both keys to its internal lock. We’re offering it for only $ 789.95

Sales policy: We accept MasterCard or Visa on a phone- or fax-in basis; and USPS Money Orders for immediate shipment. Personal checks, company checks, and Cashier’s Checks may involve a delay of no more than 7 business days for clearance. There is no need to waste money on a non-USPS Money Order because there are too many bogus ones floating. We have a bogus $1400 one in our collection pot for Hillary’s campaign. We offer a 7 day return privilege, lay-aways and brand new guns excluded. We offer 90 day lay-away with 20 percent down, balance in 90 days, but will levy a 6 percent per month charge on any unpaid balance on lay-aways after 90 days. We accept trade-ins at agreed-upon prices, delivered to us. We cannot be responsible for the freight on returns unless we have made some sort of glaring mistake.

Shipping rates and information: We must have a signed copy of the purchaser’s or his transfer agent’s Federal Firearms License in order to ship firearms interstate, and that licensee must check out with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives as a current, bona fide licensee. The license copy has to be, of course, legible, and legibly signed. We can accept them now by fax or scanned e-mail. Individuals commonly use Licensees to act as transfer agents.

First handgun is $12.00, $6.00 each for add-ons to the lower 47 States, insured, USPS Priority Mail. $20 for First Handgun to Alaska, California, or Hawaii.

First long gun is $25.00, $10.00 each for add-ons in one order, to the lower 47 States. $40 for First Long Gun to Alaska, California, or Hawaii. Insurance is included.

Don't let your buddies use your account. Registered user must be the buyer, with his or her own money. Buying firearms and related items for other people can result in felony charges. Don't try, either, to circumvent any law; for example, a California civilian may not buy a high capacity magazine and have it shipped to his brother-in-law in Nevada. That is a felony.
GA Pay buyers are NOT charged until we confirm we have the item and are ready to ship it. The same thing is true for phone-in, fax-in, and mail-in payments. In this respect, and in several others, Guns America outshines all its competitors. This is the best firearms website there is, hands down.
