We have a Pre-64 Winchester lever action model 88 rifle in 308 Winchester. The gun is all original and had NO modifications!! NO pad, no notch in the stock, extra holes… It was manufactured in 1960 and has wear on the finish. The rest of the gun looks excellent. There are no cracks, dings, or repairs in the stock. Just wear in the factory finish. The metal is excellent with no signs of rust anywhere. The receiver has no scope mount outline on it; no scope was ever mounted on it!
