This shotgun, we are told, comes from a long residency with the Alameda County California Sheriff’s Department. Several of the firearms from that Department trade dated back to World War II. This one was never serialized, and we estimate it was manufactured around 1960. Stock is nicely figured American Walnut, and it still has its original red rubber recoil pad that tops out a full 13 3/4 inch length of pull. Barrel was most likely 30 inches to begin with; but it has been modified to 20 inch beadsight for security work. Bluing is still strong on the barrel surfaces, and we rate it as Good, perhaps Very Good, around 70 percent strength. Trigger guard and magazine housing are satin renickel, and we suspect that the stock was professionally refinished at some point. Magazine is new replacement factory Marlin two shot, so 2 + 1 capacity. We are unclear as to whether this shotgun will eject 3 inch shells, so to be safe we assume not. This 55 Bolt action is Excellent mechanically; bore, chamber, and mechanism are all bright, clean, and excellent. We’re offering this very nice Eisenhower-age Marlin for only $ 239.95.

Don't let your buddies use your account. Registered user must be the buyer, with his or her own money. Buying firearms and related items for other people can result in felony charges. Don't try, either, to circumvent any law; for example, a California civilian may not buy a high capacity magazine and have it shipped to his brother-in-law in Nevada. That is a felony.
