Description: We have come across a very limited quantity of the resurrected Model 1950 .44 Military Smith & Wesson .44 Specials, the model 21-4, in 4 inch pencil barrel Nickel. The parent revolver with numbered model designation is, as Supica and Nahas point out in the Standard Catalog is Too rare to estimate value. The model was reintroduced in 2004 as a lock variant round butt Model 21-4 Classic. All the specimens we have come across in the past 3 years have been round butt grip frame, 4 inch barrels. These were discontinued in 2007 after a brief and limited run, even though they are currently listed on the Smith & Wesson factory web page. The latest 21-4 dated we have, as far as fired brass, is June 2007; so we estimate they were discontinued around that point in time. Factory specs are as follows: .44 S&W Special Caliber; traditional single- and double-action; 4 inch barrel; 9 ¼ inches OAL; 37 oz. weight; Nickel Finish; Altamont Wood Grips; Service Rear Sight with pinned ½ Moon Front Sight; MIM Color Casehardened Hammer and Trigger. Photos show one of the revolvers we had in stock at press time, at the end of 2008. Photos cannot, however, do justice to these fine revolvers. They are faithful, actually improved, descendants of the parent model, the .44 Military first produced in 1926, and they have the graceful, attractive lines of their ancestors that were state-of-the-art among G-Men enforcing prohibition. We do not allow these to be handled, much less opened and snapped, but a person will never own a Smith & Wesson Revolver that has not been fired, since all of them are test fired three rounds at the factory, and always have been. Since we made a substantial acquisition of these fine revolvers recently, about a dozen, we can offer them for substantially less than what we paid for them in the initial issue year of 2006. Own one of these fine, graceful N-frame Revolvers for only $659.95

Don't let your buddies use your account. Registered user must be the buyer, with his or her own money. Buying firearms and related items for other people can result in felony charges. Don't try, either, to circumvent any law; for example, a California civilian may not buy a high capacity magazine and have it shipped to his brother-in-law in Nevada. That is a felony.
GA Pay buyers are NOT charged until we confirm we have the item and are ready to ship it. The same thing is true for phone-in, fax-in, and mail-in payments. In this respect, and in several others, Guns America outshines all its competitors. This is the best firearms website there is, hands down.
