Smith & Wesson’s 4000 series pistols, manufactured from the late 1980s until the mid 2000 decade, were such well built pistols that they will be around for years after most of us are gone. Here are well maintained police magazines, mostly from Atlanta PD, manufactured in the early 1990s. Only a few are law enforcement marked. Manufacturer was Check-Mate Industries, Smith & Wesson’s primary subcontractor for S&W Factory Magazines for many years. Construction is stainless steel body, with steel spring and steel floorplate piece; with black polymer floorplate and yellow polymer cartridge follower. Each magazine holds 11 rounds of .40 S&W caliber ammunition. These magazines fit Smith & Wesson 4000 type metal frame pistols in .40 S&W caliber, including the standard 40034026 4043 4044 and 4046, and any of those models’ TSW variants. They will not fit the small single-stacked 4013 type pistols. These magazines are in Very Good condition, probably even Excellent condition, and relabeled with Smith & Wesson bar codes. Most of these magazines have moderate carbon deposits on their yellow polymer cartridge followers and moderate amounts of insertion and ejection scuffing on their stainless steel bodies. Photos show the actual magazines we have from this lot. Replacement pricing on current production number 19353 magazines is upwards of $50 apiece. Our Single Magazine price, one at a time, is $29. Don't let your buddies use your account. Registered user must be the buyer, with his or her own money. Buying firearms and related items for other people can result in felony charges. Don't try, either, to circumvent any law; for example, a California civilian may not buy a high capacity magazine and have it shipped to his brother-in-law in Nevada. That is a felony.
