Serial number on this 6 inch Royal Blue Colt Python is V569xx, and that dates its manufacture to the Year 1979. Its grips are the original factory walnut with Gold Toned Rampant Colt Logo. This Python's only surface detractions are on its cylinder. There is a faint amount of whitening on some of the cylinder face edges, and extra cylinder rotation marking in a line near the rear sections of the flutes; original finish is otherwise perfect. We classify it as Excellent, since 95 percent or more of its finish is intact by our estimate; photos, at any rate, should suffice for prospective owners to judge finish grade for themselves. It is excellent mechanically. Blast effect to the under side of the frame topstrap directly above the barrel's forcing cone is minimal, only a faint etchy area on that surface with no cutting at all. We estimate that this Python has been fired fewer than 200 rounds. We are including a new current production factory box and instruction manual.
