This clean dry box of Western Super X .38 Special cartridges dates from some time in the mid to late 1960s by our estimate. It came from the estate of Patrolman Clarence Rhoden who served our fellow citizens in McNairy County, Tennessee, alongside Police Chief, then Sheriff, then Constable, Buford Pusser. All the rounds are factory, fresh enough and clean. Box has only moderate scouring on its edges, and both end flaps are fully intact. Price of $5.00 is still on the box in our late Proprietor Emeritus's handwriting. Fred Robertson, by the way, sold Sheriff Pusser his first duty revolver along with several more in the 1960s.
