HG5545 Here is the refined descendant of the Smith & Wesson model 51 Revolver manufactured during the 1950s and 1960s on a very limited basis. This is the Taurus model 941 .22 Magnum Shot Revolver, 4 inch full lug Barrel, Blue Steel. Weight empty is 27 ounces; sights are traditional Black Ramp Front / Black Blade Rear, fully adjustable for windage and elevation. This is a single and double action revolver. It has both an internal transfer bar safety and the Taurus patented internal hammer lock that is the least obtrusive of all revolvers’ internal locks. Taurus Factory Order number is 2941041. Finish is an excellent matte stainless steel with diminished glare serrated sight upper surfaces. Hammer and trigger are traditional case colored, and the grip is a very comfortable Taurus factory rubber combat grip with finger grooves and palmswells. The .22 Magnum is generally not taken seriously. Sure, this is a fine revolver to practice with when a person carries a .38 or .357 Snub; it is, however, just as formidable, perhaps even more so, than the .38 +P revolvers. This specimen comes to from the estate of our favorite Pennsylvanian, and it is in Excellent condition with minimal signs of any use or wear. Its principal detraction is a faint amount of rotation marking to its cylinder suface. Bore, chamber, cylinder face, and mechanism are all bright, clean, and excellent. We rate it as Near Mint, 98 percent; photos, however, should suffice for interested parties to judge finish grade for themselves.
