Description: HG2433 In the 1970s, the Smith & Wesson model 27, simply known as The .357 Magnum, was the competitor to Colt's Python. It was the top of the line Smith & Wesson until it was supplanted by the L Frames in the following decade. Here is an Excellent Specimen from those years, a 27-2 serial numbered N327xxx, with appropriate non-Cut Target Goncalo Stocks. We estimate it was manufactured in 1975 or 1976, because N400000 range began in 1977. Trigger and hammer are original casehardened service width, .265 serrated service trigger and .400 semi-target hammer, both appropriate for this 1973 Model 27-2. It is in its original walnut presentation case with its never-completed 1 year warranty card, #5135 Holster advertisement brochure, #5131 ammunition advertisement paper, warranty station and safety warning sheets, and owners instruction manual. As far as specs, action is traditional double and single action revolver, blue steel construction N Frame with square butt grip frame serrated fore and aft; .500 serrated face color casehardened Target Trigger and matching .500 serrated spur target hammer; caliber .357 Magnum and .38 Special interchangeably; capacity 6 rounds; 3 1/2 inch standard weight barrel; blue steel serrated ramp front sight, doubly serrated barrel and frame matte rib; windage and elevation adjustable black blade rear sight; weight empty 44 ounces with center of gravity above the trigger; factory walnut presentation case with cleaning kit. Surface detractions on this 27-2 are minimal, only faint rotation marking to the cylinder and two or three tiny white spots on the rear left side of the frame from grip contact, as the photos show. The left grip panel covers these spots. Blast effect to the under side of the frame top strap directly above the barrel’s forcing cone is negligible, only a faint streak that is not readily distinguished from the mill marks on that surface. Given the absence of any significant blast effect, the absence of carbon on the cylinder face, and our knowledge of this revolver’s exclusive Colorado owner, we estimate it has been fired fewer than 50 time. We classify it as Excellent, 95 percent vicinity. Photos, at any rate, ought to suffice for our distinguished shoppers to judge finish grade for themselves. We’re offering this very attractive mid 1970s Smith & Wesson .357 Magnum 27-2 for only $ 1239.00. Don't let your buddies use your account. Registered user must be the buyer, with his or her own money. Buying firearms and related items for other people can result in felony charges. Don't try, either, to circumvent any law; for example, a California civilian may not buy a high capacity magazine and have it shipped to his brother-in-law in Nevada. That is a felony.
GA Pay buyers are NOT charged until we confirm we have the item and are ready to ship it. The same thing is true for phone-in, fax-in, and mail-in payments. In this respect, and in several others, Guns America outshines all its competitors. This is the best firearms website there is, hands down.
