Open Top Revolver c. 1871 - 1877 is marked with a Maltise Cross at the beginning and at the end of the 2-line markins "COLT'S PT F.A. Mfg Co. Hartford CT U.S.A." on the top of the barrel. It has a Serial #53905 on the bottom of the barrel. The markings are crisp and show No signs of polishing. It has a 2 3/8" Barrel Non Ejector Silver Plate. The Barrel and cylinder are Dark Blue with 100% coverage on both the Barrel and Cylinder with suface spotting. Brass frames silver plate 100%.
