Bid: Time Left: (Ended) Shipping: $55.00 Accepted Payment Methods: Returns: No Returns Description: Up for auction is an unusual pistol, a Llama with a 5 1/2 inch barrel in 9mm largo (the largo is approximately equivalent to a 9x19 9mm loaded to around 124 grains going 1200 ft/sec). This pistol is built on the Browning 1911 Colt pattern, and disassembles in exactly the same way. In fact, many of the Colt parts are interchangeable with this model of Llama. It has a grip safely as well as the hammer safety, just like the Colt. This pistol has polished feed ramps, barrel and frame, hand-fitted barrel bushing, and an extended slide release lever. The trigger has been lighted to just over 4 pounds, with a very clean let-off. The reset is almost instantaneous, the quickest I've ever felt. The pistol has been deep cleaned and test fired: see the photos of the targets. It is an A2 style of 1911, with a rounded and serrated mainspring housing. The pistol is chambered for both the 9mm largo as well as the .38 auto (the .38 Super will chamber, but is much too robust for this pistol; do not attempt to shoot .38 Super in the pistol). The polished barrel has strong and well defined rifling, without any rust or pitting. The pistol is reasonably accurate, and could make a good truck gun or ranch/farm gun.
